ANCIENT EGYPT

The history of Ancient Egypt occurred as a series of stable kingdoms, separated by periods of relative instability known as Intermediate Periods : the Old Kingdom of the Early Bronze Age, the Middle Kingdom of the Middle Bronze Age, and the New Kingdom of the Late Bronze Age.
The success of Ancient Egypt  civilization came partly from Its ability to adapt to the conditions of the Nile River valley for agriculture.
Motivating and organizing these activities was a bureaucracy of elite scribes, religious leaders, and administrators under the control of a Pharaoh, who ensured the cooperation and unity of the Egyptian people in the context of an elaborate system of religious beliefs. (Wikipedia)

Ancient Egypt could be called a "Mystery" of the Ancient world.
The way the Pyramids were built without our modern tools still confounds us today. The way the Pharaoh kept absolute control by the use of a religious system amazes us. The pictures on the walls of the Pyramids are still a mystery to us --- even though they are thousands of years old --- these pictures are still bright for us to glimpse into the Ancient world and how they lived. The Egyptian Hieroglyphics on the walls of the tombs of the Pharaohs are read by experts and we have to trust that they know their subject. From the clothes they wore to the food they ate to the beliefs that controlled their lives --- the Ancient Egyptians still control our curiosity as we try to see and understand their Ancient World.
